The IDVisor Touch has the ability to synchronize it’s scanned data with other Touch units. Here is a procedure on how to synchronize the Touch units:
First, MAKE SURE YOU BACK UP YOUR DATA ON ALL OF YOUR SCANNERS BEFORE BEGINNING THE SYNCHRONIZATION PROCESS!
To do this, go to Setup -> Database-> Backup.
Now download and install the Synchronization software provided by Tokenworks.
Now connect the first scanner. The software will recognize the scanner when you click on the blue SYNC button.
Once this is done, disconnect the scanner and connect the next one. repeat this procedure with all scanners being synchronized.
Once this is done, connect the first scanner again and re-synchronize each scanner again. This is necessary because the program must first get all the data from each scanner, then it can compile all the data together and then it can put this complete database back onto each scanner.
Once you have re-synchronized each scanner again, check the databases to ensure that they all have the same data.
