M310 and M310s Task Bar – Auto Hide

Task Bar – Auto Hide – Raising it

The Task Bar on the M310 and M310s is set to auto- hide.  To make it re-appear, use a sharp stylus and hold it in the bottom left corner of the screen.  On some systems, even the sharpest of stylus will not make the task bar re-appear.  If you have such a system, you’ll need to re-calibrate the digitizer.

Recalibrate Digitizer

Fixing a Task Bar which doesn’t pop up when tapping lower left corner of the screen.

  1. Go to the main home screen, typically blue and locate the “My Device” icon.
  2. Locate the Control Panel Short Cut and tap on it. (bottom right corner of screen)
  3. Scroll down the Control Panel and Locate the Stylus icon – tap on it  – there are two tab –
  4. Click on the Right Tab – “Calibration” and follow the directions which require screen taps in the center and all four corners of the screen

After you complete the Calibration process, when you return to the home screen, holding the stylus in the bottom left corner should make the the task bar re-appear.
