This is the full version of the IDWedge Pro software. This is a full featured form filling application that uses scanned drivers license data to fill in your forms.
The changes addressed in v2.4.8.0 were:
- Not activated when started offline: The app could show “product not activated” when it was started without a working internet connection, even though the license was valid. It now falls back to the saved license file and stays activated.
- Deactivate while offline: Deactivating the license without a connection no longer crashes. It shows a message instead, and the license stays active.
- License server check: The check no longer uses Ping, which gave false results on some networks and could crash the app at startup.
- Updated parsing/licensing library: WindowsCParsingLib is updated to v4.5.10.0, which includes the offline licensing fix, fixes for some ID fields that could come back corrupted, and better reading of military ID cards (CAC).
- Wrong ID portrait: On IDs with a small secondary “ghost” portrait, the app could crop the ghost image instead of the main photo. It now uses the main portrait, and the crop is a proper head-and-shoulders image that is no longer stretched.
- Image settings: Settings → Images now has a single “Capture ID Portrait Image” option. The clipboard is now one choice: None, Scanned Image, or ID Portrait. Changes take effect when Settings is saved, without restarting, and existing settings are converted automatically.
- Device ID in the Info dialog: The Info dialog now shows the correct device ID.
